Read Full ReviewPros: Long (10X) zoom lens. Good ergonomics. Lots of dedicated analog controls. Plenty of manual controls. Good menu system and on-screen help. LCD automatically adjusts to lighting conditions.
Cons: No image stabilization. Electronic viewfinder is terrible. Images are noisy and have lots of artifacts. Joystick can be difficult to use.
Verdict: The 5MP Kodak EasyShare Z740's ease of use simply does not make up for its subpar image quality. The poorly implemented EVF, oversensitive joystick controller, and lack of image stabilization don't help either.
