      Verdict: A lovely looking camera, with useful features and good image quality. The wide theme won't be to everyone's taste, but those who will appreciate it will no doubt value the camera's other charms too.

      Pros: Small ; good lens specs ; excellent photo color, exposure

      Cons: Wide-screen LCD ; odd controls or lack thereof ; purple fringing in photos

      Verdict: While its design is less than thrilling, the Canon PowerShot SD960 IS still has great photo quality to fall back on.
