Canon Ixus 75
By Staff writers
Review summary: Small but solid. The Ixus 75 is perfect for holiday snappers – just watch out when the sun goes down
Verdict: Anyone who's handled, nay fondled, the 65 will be right at home with this model. It shares the same two-tone grey/black styling, super-large 3in display and ‘touch sensitive' controls. The look's been updated with a black metal surround to the lens ...

Canon PowerShot SD750
By Molly K. McLaughlin
Review summary: The Canon PowerShot SD750 is very similar to our current Editors' Choice compact camera, the SD1000inside and out. The two cameras feature 7-megapixel resolution and 3X optical zoom lenses, and they sport almost identical "box and circle" chassis ...
Pros: 3-inch LCD. Great picture quality and performance. No shutter lag. Face detection technology.
Cons: Lacks an optical viewfinder. No MPEG-4 video encoding.
Verdict: The PowerShot SD750 is an excellent compact cam with a large 3-inch display that's second only to its sibling the SD1000.

Review summary: A little thicker and a little heavier than some other ultra-compact cameras, despite its mainly plastic construction the 7.1Mp Canon IXUS 75 has superb build-quality and fits nicely in your pocket.
Verdict: Paul Monckton

Canon Digital IXUS 75
By Rich Trenholm
Review summary: Don't look directly at it, or the Canon Digital IXUS 75 will hypnotise you. Any worries you might have over its price tag, lack of features and average megapixels and zoom will be eased by its massive screen and smart styling. You've been sufficiently ...
Pros: Excellent picture quality ; large screen ; smart styling ; good video
Cons: Lack of features
Verdict: Although the Canon Digital IXUS 75 doesn't have many whistles and bells, the large screen and smart styling easily make up for what is by today's standards an undistinguished spec sheet. Above all, picture quality is excellent for this size of compact

Canon Digital IXUS 75
By Anonymous (17/06/2007)
- Pros: large screen, feels solid, compact
- Cons: no view finder, relective screen
Overall a great compact camera. Was tossing up between the 70 and the 75, for the extra few ££ you get the bigger screen.
Picture quality is great and the menu setup is similar to the other Canon IXUS, so usability was the same coming from the old IXUS 60.

Canon Digital IXUS 75
By Nick Cresswell (15/05/2007)
- Pros: Time lapse Video, big screen, auto & manual ISO, surprisingly fast
- Cons: No viewfinder, slight 'blue' bias is colour rendering
I've always disliked compacts because of the slow shutter response. You hit, the button and by the time the image is captured, your subjects have dispersed (nnnggghhh!). For this reason I use a digital SLR most of the time.
I bought the IXUS 75 because it's one of the only compacts (along with the IXUS 70) that does time-lapse video; a feature I use whilst hang-gliding.
In an attempt to ...
