      Canon IXUS 75

      Pros: Picture quality

Cons: Slow shutter response with flash

Verdict: The Canon IXUS 75 is simply the best pocket sized digital camera I have tested recently. It did well in just about every test I put it through. I was impressed with my test results in lowlight as well as outdoors. Add in the 3 inch screen and you have ...

      Canon Digital IXUS 75

      By Andrew Kliem

Pros: Great colour, low chromatic aberration, low noise, big screen, compact design

Verdict: The Canon SD750 and SD1000 fall in the middle of the Digital Elph line with their standard feature set and 7.1 megapixels. The models above these have flashier features like optical image stabilization and longer lenses.

Verdict: Overall shooting performance was typical of most small-sensor digicams. Shots taken outdoors were bright with elevated saturation and contrast. Exposures were pitched towards recording shadow detail so highlights were frequently blocked up. A warmish ...
