      Casio Exilim EX-Z1050

      By Emily Raymond

Review summary: At first glance, the Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 looks like every other digital camera and adds funky color choices; pink, blue, silver, and black. Look a little closer though, and you'll see that it offers 10.1 megapixels - a spec that's plastered on ...

Pros: - Accurate white balance - Decent handling of noise up through ISO 400 - Comes in cool colors - Lots of picture effects - Very portable - Lots of flash options - Tracking auto focus

Cons: - Poor color accuracy - LCD resolution and limited viewing angle - No power adapter - Tiny buttons - Lengthy menus - No software for Macs - Horrible burst mode

Verdict: The Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 follows up the older Z1000 with the same 10.1 megapixels and lackluster 3x optical zoom lens. The monstrous resolution is the headlining feature on the camera, but its features are otherwise quite tame. The Z1050 is still ...

      Casio Exilim EX-Z1050

      By Emily Raymond

Review summary: The Casio Z1050 looks like almost every other point-and-shoot with its boxy measurements and extending 3x optical zoom lens. But the Z1050 has something most other slim cameras don't: 10.1 megapixels. This Exilim has purely Automatic modes, few Manual ...

Verdict: The camera has a large LCD screen on a compact body, leaving almost no room for anything else. Thus there is no mode dial and the limited number of buttons are tiny. Because there is no mode dial, all Exposure modes are grouped in a menu. There are 36 ...

      Review: Casio Exilim EX-Z1050

      By Will Greenwald, CNET.com

Review summary: If it weren't for the poor LCD, the Exilim EX-Z1050 would be a pretty good camera.

Pros: The Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 10-megapixel camera has solid image quality, a very fast low-resolution Burst mode, and simple controls.

      Cons: Terrible screen.

      By WDC Team

Review summary: Casio's latest Exilim compact doesn't disappoint..........

Pros: Image quality, Bright LCD, Battery life

      Cons: Small buttons

Verdict: Due to its simplicity and a wide range of program modes, even the novice user can quickly produce high quality images with the Z1050.
