      Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z1050 (silver)

      Pros: The Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 10-megapixel camera has solid image quality, a very fast low-resolution Burst mode, and simple controls.

      Cons: Terrible screen.

      Verdict: If it weren't for the poor LCD, the Exilim EX-Z1050 would be a pretty good camera.

      Review summary: Casio EXILIM EX-Z1050 Review - With a natty, lilac, metallic finish and an attractive 10Mp resolution, the latest compact from Casio is fluttering its eyelashes at Duncan Evans.

      Pros: High, 10Mp resolution, Excellent build quality, Very easy to use, Better ISO range than the Z1200, Large LCD screen, Very detailed ISO80

      Cons: Noise at ISO100 upwards, Modest performance, LCD screen not top class, Macro mode a disappointment, Focus tracking wanders
