Casio Exilim EX-Z120 Digital Camera Review

      By Ben Stafford

Review summary: Announced back in August, the 7.2 megapixel Casio Exilim EX-Z120 (and its 6 megapixel little brother, the EX-Z110) was introduced as an easy to use, entry level, compact digital camera.

Cons: Unimpressive macro focus range ; Hard to extract SD/MMC card ; Some Best Shot settings should be avoided -- ones that increase the sensitivity (and increase noise)

Verdict: The Z120 is a good camera for the beginning digital camera owner. The easy mode provides a lot of convenience for someone who doesn't want to deal with all the options available on the camera. Even though there are many manual modes (aperture priority ...

7.2 MP at a low price

Casio Exilim EX-Z120 By Jay Harker (27/01/2006)
    • Pros: Great quality pics, tons of features
    • Cons: Sometimes quality is too high so files are big for emailing

This camera has been great so far for me. One of the coolest features is the Best Shot mode. You can select from a large graphical list of different picture taking conditions. For example: portrait, portrait with scenery, children, sports, splashing water, night shot and tons more. The settings are preset so you really do get the best possible shot. I also like the video mode. It shoots surprising... Read Full Review »

Casio Exilim EX-Z120 By louise ellis (28/12/2005)
    • Pros: Very easy to use , zoom on camera is excellent
    • Cons: Need to use good quality batteries as standard batteries dont last .

A very nice camera , I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to buy a quality camera at a resonable price . Takes very good pictures even in poor inside light .
The camera is comfortable to use and the anti shake DSP is a bonus , even taking pictures of my moving dog ( who won't sit still )
