Pros: Slim, ultracompact. Great video capture. Excellent daylight still shots. Easy-to-use "Best Shot" automatic mode.

Cons: Overexposed flash shots. No dedicated mode dial. Tiny on/off button. Shutter can be difficult to press all the way down.

Verdict: The EX-Z9 is an easy-to-use, entry-level shooter that takes terrific daylight shots and continues Casio's tradition of quality video recording in digital cameras.
