      Review summary: If you're after a compact camera boasting all of the latest features, it's worth looking at the FinePix F50df.

      Pros: Excellent image quality, improved Face Detection technology

      Cons: Heavy, plain design, weak flash

      Verdict: Fujifilm offers flashier, more colourful models, but if you're more concerned with what your pictures look like than what your camera looks like, then the FinePix F50fd is probably a good bet.
