I bought this mostly for an increase in pixels but wish I had it years ago, it's very hard to take a picture with this camera that is not good, I no longer take a few extra to be on the safe side, every one is a winner (almost!) and short videos from the wings of amateur dramatics really pin down the movement. I was asked to fill in at an anniversary party and ended up with a splendid album, and in any normally lighted room you can get good shots without flash, which is much more unobtrusive, as people hardly notice you at it, and batteries last for ever without the flash. Fantastic performance for the money!
