Fujifilm S5600

Despite bad reviews I took a chance a bought from pixmania, purely based on price. And despite the bad reviews the service I got was excellent. The camera arrived within 48hours and there web-site was updated regularly so I could track the order and emails were received letting me know what stage the order was at. However I took the advise from one reader and bought from them as the camera was cheaper and the fulfilment is done in France, and this means a manual all in French. One review said never mind you can download it from the Fuji web-site however I have since discovered you can't. You now have to register to get a download, and in order to register for the downloads you need to provide serial numbers etc. from the camera you have received. The system is that clever that it recognises that the product was supplied from a UK supplier and prevents you from down loading an English manual. Now my french is OK and I can follow some of the diagrams but I do think that in order to get the best use out of the camera I am will need to read the manual in English ! I will now try Fuji direct to see if I can get a manual and see what happens, but in terms of price, and whether I am happy with my purchase I am. However this does niggle me.
