      HP Photosmart R707 5.1MP Digital Camera Review

      Verdict: The R707 is a very capable camera, with lots of options and available user controls. It can be used as a simple "point and shoot" camera by beginners, but allows the more experienced photographer to make choices of almost every shooting parameter.

      Pros: Great menu system, innovative design

      Cons: Low battery life, slow to process images, average image quality

      Verdict: This is an attractive combination of a competitive price, small size and capable imaging, with a few advanced extras thrown in. The built-in help would benefit novice photographers.

    • Pros: Good package
    • Cons: My screen broke twice in the same way

    I write to warn you to be very careful about buying this camera.

    I bought it in Jan 05. In Sept 05 the screen cracked for no reason, rendering the camera unuseable. I got a replacement camera as the warranty was 12 months.

    On my recent honeymoon, the screen cracked in EXACTLY the same way, again for no apparent reason. HP are refusing to replace it as they same all replacement cameras have onl... Read Full Review »
