      Kodak EasyShare C875

      By Jeff Keller

Review summary: The EasyShare C875 is the top dog in Kodak's entry-level C-series of digital cameras. It offers features for both beginners and enthusiasts alike, from scene modes to help screens to manual exposure controls. Other features on the camera include a 5X ...

Pros: Great value for the money ; Very good photo quality in most situations ; More zoom than your typical entry-level camera ; Compact, well-built metal/plastic body ; Large 2.5" LCD display (but see issue below) ; Many manual controls ; Tons of scene ...

Cons: Redeye, despite fancy reduction system ; Disappointing night shot performance ; Low resolution LCD ; No optical viewfinder ; Could really have used manual white balance ; Fairly useless "distance guide" in manual focus mode ; Small zoom controller ; ...

Verdict: The EasyShare C875 has a built-in lens cover so there's no clumsy lens cap to worry about

      Kodak EasyShare C875 (3.5 mice)

      By Paul Jasper

Review summary: The Kodak EasyShare C875 is a good, inexpensive camera. First-time digital photographers will find it easy to learn, and its more advanced features will give them room to grow over time.

Pros: Good value for money ; orientation sensor pivots photos between landscape and portrait viewing ; manual modes offer some advanced settings ; can save custom settings

Cons: Navigation joystick can be difficult to use ; unimpressive battery life

Verdict: The included software-together with Kodak's EasyShare Gallery Web site-simplifies the process of e-mailing and sharing images. The C875 comes with an adapter plate that can connect the camera to Kodak's optional $50 EasyShare Camera Dock for charging ...

Kodak EasyShare C875 Digital Camera Review

Review summary: This solid 8-megapixel point-and-shoot is not very stylish and does not really fit in pockets, but it includes Aperture-priority, Shutter-priority, and Manual modes. It comes with a mode dial on top, a joystick on the back and a few other intuitive ...

Compare Prices : Compare Prices : Kodak EasyShare C875 By Anonymous (11/01/2008)
    • Pros: Good price, good quality pictures
    • Cons: Not so good in bad lighting

This was my first digital camera and I love it. The video option is great and most of my pictures have come out really well except in poor lighting when I'm a distance away.
In reply to the above comment about it switching off - thats due to the batteries. Mine did the same on normal batteries after about 5 photos. I bought high capacity rechargeable batteries for approx €20 in argos and now t... Read Full Review »

    • Pros: light and easy to use good photos
    • Cons: silver case marks easily viewer switches off too quickly

This is my second Kodak digital camera. I am very happy with the quality of photographs and the high Mega pixels allows for better quality enlargements. It has so much choice for settings. Shame the veiwing screen is hard to view in bright sunlight and switches off too quickly Read Full Review »

    Would be great BUT

Compare Prices : Compare Prices : Kodak EasyShare C875 By Heather Watson (29/05/2007)
    • Pros: Easy to use
    • Cons: Doesn't like work

I purchased one of these, and it kept turning itself off. I tried all ways to get it to work, to no avail, so I returned it and got a replacement. The replacement worked ok for a while but soon began to switch itself off after a few pictures. I have returned this camera, and would not get another, even though it was easy to use and great picture quality Read Full Review »
