      Kodak EasyShare DX 7590

      By Doug Harman

Pros: Good metering and colour capture, the 38-380mm 10x zoom Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon lens, it's easy to use with good specification.

Cons: Noisy images in shadow areas or low light and image compression removes detail

Verdict: Kodak's range of EasyShare digital models gets a new flagship in the DX7590, which plays host to quality optics, it's easy to use yet question marks remain over the image quality particularly for larger prints.
