      Nikon CoolPix L100

      Pros: Comfortable design ; reliable auto features ; cheap

      Cons: Uneven, soft photos ; almost no control over ISO ; cannot use rechargeable batteries

      Verdict: The Nikon Coolpix L100 is a decent entry-level megazoom. Just don't look too closely at the photos and stock up on AA batteries.

      Pros: Good build; Metal tripod bush; Good zoom; Priced well; Nice colours; Bright screen
