      Nikon Coolpix P4

Review summary: The camera has a 8.1-megapixel chip and although slightly chunky has a well-made metalic body.

Pros: Great picture quality, Easy to use, Image stabilisation, Reasonable price

Cons: Average looks, Poorly made shooting dial

Verdict: A top ISO 400 setting might seem a little limiting, but it means noise from the pixel-dense chip isn't unduly intrusive, while image stabilisation allows sharper shots at slower shutter speeds - ideal for low-light shooting
