      Nikon Coolpix P90 review

      By Mike Perlman

Review summary: We took Nikon's 24x optical zoom monster for a walk in the park. Is there more to this compact camera than maddening magnification? Read the in-depth Nikon Coolpix P90 review here.

Pros: Great overall image performance. Big zoom. Wide-angle lens crammed more action into shots

Cons: Feels cheap. Limited external controls and features. Terrible menu system

Verdict: That's where the 3-inch folding LCD comes into play, which we'll get to in the next section. The Nikon Coolpix P90 also has an electronic viewfinder, but it's a hard plastic box devoid of an eye socket-approved rubberized texture. We liked the ...

      Nikon Coolpix P90 bridge camera

      By George Cole

Review summary: A super- zoom camera with superb continuous shooting modes. Shame about the clunky user interface and inconsistent performance.

Verdict: Kitted out with battery, SD card and neck strap, the P90 weighs almost 500 grams and is rather bulky. The front is dominated by the lens, which protrudes approximately 60 mm from the camera body and has a diameter of 62 mm at its tip. Powering up the ...
