      Nikon Coolpix S710 (black)

      Pros: Nice photos ; wide-angle lens ; attractive design ; plenty of shooting options

      Cons: Very slow performance ; menu systems, navigation takes practice ; no optical zoom in Movie mode

      Verdict: If it wasn't so slow, the Nikon Coolpix S710 would be a very good high-end, full-featured ultracompact.
