Nikon Coolpix S7c
By Jeff Keller
Review summary: The Coolpix S7c ($350) is the update to the Coolpix S6, which was one of Nikon's first cameras to support Wi-Fi. The S7c supports Wi-Fi too -- in fact, it's been enhanced over its predecessor. While before you could just transfer photos to your ...
Pros: Compact and stylish metal body ; Built-in 802.11b/g for wireless photo transfer and e-mailing (though see issues below) ; Huge, sharp 3-inch LCD display with nice viewing angle ; screen is visible in low light ; Tons of scene modes ; In-camera help ...
Cons: Significant blurring around edges of frame ; vignetting ; images overall on the soft side ; Above average barrel distortion at wide-angle ; Redeye (despite the fancy removal tools) ; Slow and clunky Wi-Fi implemention ; Misleading "VR" branding on ...
Verdict: photos at the highest quality setting into that amount of memory, so consider a large memory card to be a required purchase. Since it's 7 Megapixel, I'd recommend getting at least a 512MB memory card for the S7c. The camera can use SD or MMC memory ...

Nikon Coolpix S7c Digital Camera Review
By Ben Stafford
Review summary: The 7.1 megapixel Nikon Coolpix S7c features a 3x optical zoom, 3 inch LCD, wireless capability, and electronic vibration reduction.
Pros: Very good image quality ; Nice 3 inch LCD ; Stylish and well built ; Useful, and fun when using wireless features with the Coolpix Connect service
Cons: Battery life is average ; Controls may not suit all people ; Glossy finish and large screen are fingerprint magnets
Verdict: Overall, I was pleased with the Nikon Coolpix S7c. The image quality was very good and the wireless features worked well. The camera is also very stylish and thin - you're sure to turn some heads. If the looks aren't enough, then just flash the ...

Nikon Coolpix S7c
By WDC Team
Review summary: This may be Nikon's most stylish and well-specified compact ever, but how does it perform?......
Pros: Styling, Extensive feature list, Good handling and performance
Cons: Loss of fine detail when enlarged, Poor ISO 1600 performance, Strangely, no red-eye fix
Verdict: On paper the S7c has almost everything you'd want on a point-and-shoot camera and it delivers too, as long as you don't enlarge the images too much. Under close scrutiny, over-zealous processing and noise reduction turn fine detail to mush.

Camera Review: Nikon Coolpix S7c
By Jack Howard
Review summary: The real selling point of the superslim 7.1-megapixel S7c is the camera's built-in WiFi and year's subscription to T-Mobile Hotspots.

Nikon Coolpix S7c
By Glenn Morley (10/01/2007)
- Pros: Build quality, Lens, Image quality.
- Cons: Tricky to get correct settings.
Fantastic little camera. I was surprised by the quality of the images, Macro was so good it could of come from my SLR. I'm not stupid but I'm finding it hard to get the setting I'm looking for! Maybe there is something wrong with the camera. Battery life could be better. Think I will be buying a spare. WiFi complicated to set up, still not got it working.
