quality upgrade for D100 which gives it a totally different makeover..almost top professional quality product which is as easy to use as you want..or as complicated as you need.. if you want total control..
used with appropriate lenses this camera produces top quality results with ease..I particularly like the recent settings menu which gives faster access to preferences before storing in 1 of 4 banks for later use while still being able to default when needed..there is unfortunatly some issues with independent lens manufacturers and the D200 (other Nikon bodies seem ok), why, I don't know, but Sigma have to re-chip certain lenses before compatability is attained. also not all independent lenses are able to utalise the i-TTL mode.
the built in flash is useful but with the SB800 you have total control of most situations. you can take 8 shots or more at 5fps using flash with the quick recharger unit supplied with the unit. nice if you happen to come across a celeb or two..
nice large LCD for easy photo check and menu change.
I have used the D200 for 6 months now and find it tops for every situation..
