      Review summary: The Mini S may be weatherproof and come in a variety of colours, but its 1.8in LCD and 15fps movie mode aren't a knock out

      Pros: Good value. Unique style and colour range. Weatherproof body handy for British weather

      Cons: LCD only 1.8-inch, 134,000 pixels. A bit on the chubby side compared to other slimline cams. Rotary mode dial on the top is a bit odd

      Olympus Mju-Mini Digital S

      Review summary: At the price, the Mju-Mini Digital S has a lot going for it

      Pros: Extremely natural colour rendition, Sharp lens, Waterproof

      Cons: 2x rather than a 3x zoom lens

      Verdict: And while the Pentax Optio WPi is the only camera in the group to be fully waterproof, the Olympus is splash and rain-resistant, wearing its 'All-Weather' badge with pride. All in all, it's a great little camera for the money

    handy size, but dissapointed

    • Pros: Small, light, fairly quick
    • Cons: Poor battery life, noisy pics in average light, no slow synch flash

    Firstly I was dissapointed with the battery life. You can barely get a days worth of photos if you're out on holiday, so definately get a second battery.

    Secondly, there's no slow synch flash which would be great for parties, and bars. With no flash on, or in night mode the exposure is so long, everyone gets bored and wonders off before the shot has finished. As most of my photos are when... Read Full Review »

    • Pros: Excellent quality snaps from a compact pocket sized camera.
    • Cons: Hard to capture moving subjects.

    This is my first digital pocket sized camera. I was attracted by it's design initially but after having had previous Olympus cameras I knew I couldn't go far wrong. The quality of the pictures are amazing and the close-up function turns an ordinary image into a peice of art.
