      Pros: Build quality, image quality, lens

      Cons: Menu system, low light performance, value

      Verdict: Although it is quite expensive, the Mju 1060 offers superior build quality, stylish appearance and simplicity of use, combined with very good image quality.

      Review summary: THE MJU 1060 is a decent beginner camera, but its images have some issues and it can be slow.

      Pros: 7x optical zoom with stabilisation, intuitive beginner modes, 3" display

      Cons: High noise levels, slow shot-to-shot time, missing several key manual features

      Verdict: Olympus' MJU 1060 is a pretty decent beginner camera with its large screen and bevy of novice modes, but its images have some issues and it can be slow at times.
