      Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX30

      By Christopher Null

Review summary: mode? WTF?) Still, with real-time histograms and a 16:9 wide-aspect sensor and LCD, it's a decent rig with some unusual bells and whistles.

Pros: Copious panoramic features for land scapes and large group shots. Intuitive menus. Decent shutter lag (0.68 second with flash).

Cons: Poorly placed control dial. Lowest picture quality in the group. Loud, sluggish autofocus. Image stabilization is inconsistent. Videos saved in annoying QuickTime format.
