Review summary: The Panasonic DMC FX35 is a pocket camera. It has a very simple, but stylish design. The camera has a wide angle lens. This is great for landscape photos and groups of people. Picture quality is very good and this camera is well worth a closer look.
Pros: Ease of use - wide screen movies - high angle LCD screen - design - picture quality
Cons: A touch more brightness for my indoor tests
Verdict: "This camera ticks most of the right boxes. Picture quality is very good, the camera is stylish and it is also easy to use. The camera also has the widest lens I have tested for a compact camera. It will also slip into a pocket."

Cons: No joystick controller like on other F-series cameras. Small 2.5-inch LCD. No optical viewfinder. Flash underexposes images.
Verdict: With the latest model in its FX line, Panasonic has added some nice features but also took out its excellent joystick controller. This move lands the camera right back in the middle of the pack of midrange pocket shooters.
