      Pros: Huge zoom, sharp pictures, good noise performance, intelligent auto mode is great for beginners

      Cons: Over-sharpening issues, barrel distortion

      Panasonic DMC FZ18

      Review summary: The Panasonic DMC FZ18 offers an even longer zoom lens than most super zoom cameras (18x). Picture quality is very good and you will also find more than enough features to keep you busy. Well worth a closer look.

      Pros: Long zoom lens - colours - picture sharpness - design - features

      Cons: Noise creeping in on some photos

      Verdict: With its super length zoom lens (18x) there is bound to be a lot of interest in the Panasonic DMC FZ18. I was impressed with the photos it took and it is also one of the most feature laden digital cameras you can buy.
