Cons: Pricey for a compact camera. Flash is too strong (though adjustable). Images noisier than expected. Some pincushion distortion. Noticeable shutter lag.
Verdict: A versatile camera for those who want something smaller than a D-SLR, with lots of pro features and controls, but the images are noisy and you'll find the shutter lag irritating.

Verdict: The Panasonic Lumix LX1 is a one of a kind camera with a 16:9 CCD. The wide 4x lens is also better than most competition, the 28 mm covers wide open scenery and indoor shots while the 112 mm of the telephoto side can easily cover most zoom shots.
