      Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T70

      By Rich Trenholm

Review summary: The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T70 is one fast snapper. With this 8.1-megapixel compact, shutter lag is non-existent, so you can start shooting the minute you hit the button. With 10 scene modes and features including 'smile shutter', you'll get crisp images ...

Pros: Classy styling ; giant touchscreen interface ; non-existent shutter lag ; decent battery life

Cons: Pointless 'smile shutter' feature ; clunky zoom control

Verdict: If touchscreen compacts are for you, then the classy Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T70 is for you. One of the comeliest compacts we've seen for a while, and respectably-featured with it. Pictures are decent, the shutter is fast enough to take your hand off and ...

      Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T70

      By Margaret Brown

Review summary: Sony's 8.1-megapixel DSC-T70 cyber-shot is essentially a scaled-down version of the T200 model with a marginally smaller, lighter body, shorter zoom range and smaller LCD. Unlike previous T-series models, both are controlled via touch screens, which ...

Verdict: Pictures taken with the test camera were bright and colourful with plenty of detail and lively colours. Exposures were biased slightly in favour of shadows so highlights tended to block up in outdoor shots, although dynamic range was wider than we've ...

      Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T70

      By Andrew Kliem

Pros: Touch screen, good noise performance

Cons: Chromatic aberration issues, some haloing in high contrast areas

Verdict: Another solid touch screen offering from Sony, the Cyber-Shot DSC-T70 is a slightly slimmed down version of the T200. It offers relatively good quality pictures and combines them with a touch screen interface and a slick design.

      Sony DSC T70

Review summary: The Sony DSC T70 manages to get most things right. To start with the camera has a very fast shutter response. Picture quality is very good and I also like the build and style of the camera. It will fit easily into a pocket. This model is an 8 ...

Pros: Low shutter lag - picture quality - design - extra features

Cons: I would like to see a touch more sharpness in some photos.

Verdict: Picture quality and build quality place the DSC T70 towards the front rank of true pocket sized digital cameras. It also has very fast shutter response times.

      Sony Cybershot DSC-T70

      By Darren

Review summary: The Sony Cybershot DSC-T70 is another camera that Sony seem to have released today without a lot of fanfare. The Sony Cybershot DSC-T70 is an 8 megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom lens. It features a 3.0 inch LCD (touch screen), face detection ...
