I bought this in June of 2007 for our vacation to the beach. Overall I LOVE this camera. It takes great pictures on or away from the beach. The picture quality was actually better than my 7.0 MP Casio....

My few issues are: the buttons are a little tough to use, they are small, too close together and are hard to push in. Next, remember to clean out the front lens if you are around water...I noticed that drops of water got on the plastic cover in front of the lens and then I am left with an image sometimes in a water bubble. Finally- Invest in rechargable batteries and bring a couple of sets. I had a 1GB, 2 GB and 246MB memory cards and the battery life appears to go fast, even though it says the battery is only at half life. The camera suddenly shuts off on me when I am trying to take a picture.

Great idea...cannot wait to see the improvements for the next one...like maybe a bigger LCD screen. I love that it takes videos with audio- no need to bring the large camcorder down to the beach now...but I do stress to bring many sets of batteries (it takes 2 AA).
