Not a battery eater

Cons: Lack of IS although this is not a problem in normal conditions

Please disregard the other review which claims this camera is a battery eater. How someone can review a product in April 2006 that was not announced until September 2006 beats me. Have had this camera for over a month now and I'm very pleased with the results. Shooting in superfine quality allows for some awesome cropping. Previous camera was a Fuji Finepix 601Z which I always found easy to use but I feel the Canon is just as easy.

Overall a superb point and shoot camera with amazing quality from the 10 megapixels.
