I have been extremely impressed by its image quality and ease of operation. The best thing for me, though, is how it performs in low light situations. I have to say this camra for beginers is an excellent choice, the operation is smooth and quite and the ease of use is great. I would recomend this to any one. 13 out of 15 people found this review helpfulI upgraded from film to digital with canon because the lenses are interchangeble, the screen size is a little small at 1.8, but is not a major problem, it is easy to use,I have yet to figure out a few modes, but lack of use at present, is my downfall.
all in all a very good piece of equipment, at an excellent price, the only downside is my prevous flash does not work with digital. Read Full Review »

Gives clear pictures, takes many pictures in quick succession. With a 4MB memory card I am taking many pictures that are easily reviewed and edited.
When editing easy to zoom in without loss of definition.

Quality on body seems excellent. Although the exterior quality of the EF-S lens seems poor, the optical quality remains excellent, and every bit as good as the current offering from Nikon/Nikkor.
