Olympus SP 510

- Pros: Great value for money; Portability compared with SLR's
- Cons: anti-shake facility is somewhat restictive
Since I purchased this camera I have seen several poor reviews, but I fully agree with the other contributor that in fact it is an excellent buy at the price (which like all digital cameras seems to fall by the day). It has great features, is very versatile and lacks the sheer bulk of a Digital SLR, while at the same time being far easier to handle than the often fiddly pocket digitals now in vog... - Pros: Features, ease of use, handling, image quality
- Cons: None
As a point and shoot camera takes excellent straight forward photos. But once the many special features are investigated the SP-510 offers a great range for creativity. Manual control is easy and different photographic effects are fun to experiment with. The long lens gives good control over framing subjects at many ranges.
